The rustic restaurant at this hotel provides a lovely dining experience with nice views of the surrounding area. the location is convenient, being close to the center of town and offering scenic views from the restaurant area. the hotel's location on the South Island makes it a great base for exploring the nearby Rakaia Gorge and enjoying activities like fishing and walking.

Some reviews mentioned slow service and issues with food at the restaurant.

The accommodation provided clean and comfortable rooms. The location was perfect for my business trip needs and close to the area I needed to be in. the breakfast offerings had a good variety and were satisfying.

The hotel had poor Wi-Fi connection, which made it difficult to work and communicate online. The staff was not accommodating when I requested extra amenities.

Location is great and easily accessible by car. Room was affordable and clean. It was surprising to have breakfast included in the room rate, and it was a good breakfast spread.

The check-in process was slow and the receptionist was not friendly or welcoming. the room was small and outdated with old and uncomfortable furniture.
